Fruit Kebabs with Strawberry Sauce
For these Fruit Kebabs with Strawberry Sauce, nothing can replace the appetizing look of fresh strawberries. However, you can economize on the dip by using frozen strawberries. Drain the berries well before using.
1 honeydew melon, halved, deseeded
12 fresh strawberries
1 small pineapple, cut into chunks
1/2 cup fresh strawberries, hulled
1/2 cup vanilla custard-style yogurt
1 tsp honey
Cut one half of honeydew melon into 11/2-inch chunks. Thread strawberries, pineapple and honeydew chunks onto 6 wooden skewers.
For dip, gently mash sliced strawberries in a small bowl. Add yogurt and honey; mix well.
Decoratively carve out remaining honeydew half. Spoon strawberry dip into honeydew bowl.
Place filled honeydew on a serving platter. Arrange fruit kebabs around melon.
