Grilled Russet Potatoes

Most supermarkets offer russet potatoes at least two ways: large ones are loose; smaller potatoes are packed in 5- and 10-pound bags. The potatoes are the same, so buy them in bags for lowest price to save money on these Grilled Russet Potatoes.
Ingredients
4 russet baking potatoes
3 Tbsp butter or margarine, sliced
1 1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1 cup grated Cheddar cheese
2 Tbsp chopped fresh parsley
3/4 cup half-and-half

Preheat grill. Fold a 48-inch length of heavy aluminum foil in half widthwise. Cut potatoes into thin lengthwise strips as for French fries.

Arrange potatoes on center of foil. Melt butter in a small saucepan; drizzle over potatoes.

Sprinkle with salt, pepper, Cheddar and parsley.

Fold up edges of foil slightly; pour in half-and-half. Bring the edges of foil together and fold to close securely. Place on grill and cook until potatoes are tender, about 1 hour.
