Ingredients
6 slices bacon, chopped
1 medium head cabbage, chopped
1 tsp salt
1 (12-ounce) package egg noodles
1/4 tsp pepper
1 small onion, chopped
Directions

Cook bacon and onion in a large skillet over medium heat until onion is tender, stirring occasionally. Drain half of drippings.

Add cabbage and salt to skillet. Cook, covered, stirring occasionally, until cabbage is lightly browned, about 15 minutes.

Meanwhile, cook noodles in boiling water according to package directions. Drain.

Add noodles and pepper to skillet. Stir to mix well.
