2 lb boneless strip steak
1/2 cup Worcestershire sauce
1 Tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp hot pepper sauce
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp rosemary
1 tsp garlic powder
1 1/2 sticks butter or margarine, melted, divided
8 oz mushrooms
1 tsp paprika
Slice beef into 1/4-inch-thick strips. Combine beef, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, hot pepper sauce, salt, pepper, rosemary and garlic powder in a resealable plastic bag. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
Meanwhile, heat 4 tablespoons butter in a medium skillet over medium heat. Add mushrooms. Cook, stirring occasionally, until mushrooms are browned.
Preheat broiler. Line broiler pan with aluminum foil. Pour 2 tablespoons butter on foil; spread to coat foil. Arrange beef strips on foil without overlapping.
Brush beef with part of remaining butter. Sprinkle with paprika. Broil 6 inches from heat, turning once, for 8 minutes. Repeat with remaining beef. Mound beef and mushrooms on a platter.
Beef Strips with Mushrooms tip: Save both cooking and cleanup time by searing the beef strips in a cast-iron grill pan on the stove top.
