Salmon Teriyaki

Its quick and cost-effective to make teriyaki sauce for this Salmon Teriyaki. Combine 1/4 cup soy sauce, 1/4 cup dry sherry, 2 tablespoons brown sugar, 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger and 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder in a bowl.

Ingredients

4 (8-ounce) salmon fillets

1 Tbsp butter or margarine

2 Tbsp water

1/2 cup teriyaki sauce

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Grease a baking dish. Arrange salmon in baking dish.

  2. Combine butter, water and teriyaki sauce in a microwave-safe cup. Microwave on HIGH until butter is melted, about 1 minute.

  3. Pour teriyaki sauce mixture evenly over salmon in dish.

  4. Bake until salmon flakes easily, about 12 minutes.

Salmon Teriyaki tip: To cook this dish in the microwave, place the fish in a microwave-safe dish. Cover with plastic wrap, venting one corner. Microwave on HIGH for 4 to 5 minutes. Let stand for 2 minutes.

I tried this recipe and just loved it! The Teriyaki sauce was so tasty. With the brown sugar in it, the sauce crystallized to the fish and made it a beautiful brown color full of flavor
